US District Judge Tanya Chutkan has blocked construction of Donald Trump's planned two-hundred-fifty-foot Washington triumphal arch for fourteen days after federal planners approved the project eight to four. Opponents say the so-called Arc de Trump would scar views of Arlington National Cemetery and honour the president himself. The White House branded the pause the work of an activist court and vowed to finish the arch.
