JPMorgan Chase reports record £16.7 billion profit for second quarter

JPMorgan Chase announced a net income of $21.2 billion for the second quarter of 2026, driven by strong performance in its Markets and Investment Banking divisions. The bank also reported record revenue across all business lines, with higher average loans and deposits. The strong performance led to diluted earnings per share of $7.70 for the quarter.
