Johnny Marr's guitars sell for almost £4 million at auction

The Smiths musician's instruments, played by him while in the band and on his new solo album, sold for over three times their estimated worth. The sale, lasting over five hours, drew buyers from 34 countries and achieved £3,649,280. A 1982 Rickenbacker 330 Jetglo, heard on "This Charming Man," sold for £358,400, and 31 lots benefited two charities.
