John Ternus becomes Apple CEO next week, will replace older executives
John Ternus will officially take over as Apple's CEO next week, and a major leadership change is expected to follow, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. While some new hires are in place, Ternus will reportedly spend the next three years replacing many near-retirement executives. These include Johny Srouji, Apple's SVP of hardware, Deirdre O’Brien who heads retail and HR, and marketing chief Greg Joswiak.
