John Lewis plans store service closures, 200 jobs at risk
Shoppers will still be able to order foreign currency online for home delivery or collect it in stores if the plans go ahead. John Lewis began redundancy consultations on Tuesday after proposing to end foreign exchange desks and specialist gift wrapping, with any closures expected in autumn. Bureau de change services would end in 30 stores, while gift wrapping would stop in 25.
