Job adverts must show salaries under government plans for transparency

New government plans require employers to publish salary information in job adverts. The Cabinet Office says this will stop unfair pay and improve hiring by avoiding mismatched expectations. Details are still being worked out, but this could include exact salaries or a pay range, with consultations ending in October.
