Jeffrey Donaldson to appeal 18 child sex offence convictions in Belfast

Jeffrey Donaldson, the former DUP leader, intends to challenge the verdict finding him guilty of rape and further sexual crimes involving two children. His legal representatives submitted the appeal paperwork to the Court of Appeal in Belfast on Friday. Donaldson was convicted last month on 18 counts of sexual offences and is due to be sentenced in September.
