Japan's biggest taxi firm hit by cyberattack, shutting down systems
Japan's largest taxi operator, Nihon Kotsu, disclosed on July 11 that a malware attack necessitated the temporary closure of sections of its IT infrastructure. The IT infrastructure shutdown made some customer services unavailable, including web orders, reservation management, and phone dispatch. The company has not confirmed any data leaks but warned it may disclose information if personal data exposure is found.
