Japan investing £18bn in UK, creating jobs
An £18 billion investment from Japan is predicted to create a substantial number of jobs throughout the United Kingdom. This Sunday, Keir Starmer, the UK Prime Minister, will host Japan's Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, at Downing Street to formalize their agreements. Among the provisions of the accord are an offshore wind energy scheme valued at £9 billion, and the cooperation between Rolls-Royce and Japan's Atomic Energy Agency.
