James Bulger's grave vandalised in Liverpool, Denise Fergus appeals for information
The grave of murdered toddler James Bulger was vandalised in Liverpool on 26 February, with two stone cherubs either side of his headstone found with their heads removed. His mother Denise Fergus said she was alerted by a member of the public walking their dog at the cemetery and described finding the damage as heartbreaking. The vandalism occurred 33 years after James was abducted from the New Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle and killed by Jon Venables and Robert Thompson in February 1993.
