Italy's Colosseum closed after technician dies in 10-metre fall

Andrea Moretti, a 22-year-old technician, passed away on Tuesday night after plunging approximately 10 metres during a lighting system installation. Italy's Culture Minister, Alessandro Giuli, closed the Colosseum on Wednesday as a mark of respect. The closure followed protests from Italy's largest union, CGIL, which called for a full shutdown.
