Israeli Soldier Punished for Vandalising Jesus Statue in Lebanon

The vandalism of a Jesus statue by an Israeli soldier in Lebanon has prompted apologies and widespread condemnation. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the soldier's actions went against Jewish values and promised punishment. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar also apologised to Christians worldwide. The investigation is complete and appropriate measures will be taken, with the statue to be restored.
