Israel Blocks Building of Gaza Base for Trump's Peace Board
Wikimedia Commons
Israel is refusing to let work start on a base in Gaza planned by Donald Trump's Board of Peace, according to the Guardian. The outpost would house 150 international troops, the first step of a stabilisation force needed before rebuilding can begin. A source said contractors and trucks are being kept out. Israel declined to comment. Some expect progress after Israel's election on 27 October.
