Iran's President quits over IRGC taking control

Iran's President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has resigned, saying he was excluded from essential decisions as the IRGC gained power. He sent his official resignation letter on Sunday, saying he could no longer run the government or do his job. This power vacuum has allowed hardline IRGC factions to take even more power and control in Iran.
