Iran fires missiles at Gulf neighbors, threatens key oil route
Oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz face disruption after Iran said it's closing the waterway until further notice. Early on Sunday, Iran launched missiles and drones at Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the UAE after US forces struck at least 140 targets following reported attacks on two vessels. One route involved Cyprus-registered container ship they claimed sailed without authorisation.
