Iran draft deal links US exit to Strait of Hormuz shipping

Shipping through a major trade route could return to earlier levels if talks succeed. Iranian state television reported an unofficial draft agreement in which US forces would leave areas near Iran and end restrictions on Iranian ports, while Iran would restore commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz within a month. Oman would help manage shipping routes, and any final agreement would need approval through a UN Security Council resolution within 60 days.
