Iran damaged US naval base in Bahrain and air base in Jordan

The US Naval Support Activity base in Bahrain, America's primary logistics centre in the Middle East, has suffered extensive damage. Iranian strikes on Tuesday also hit Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, damaging several US military aircraft. The strikes follow the deaths of 18 US military personnel and injuries to more than 800 since the conflict commenced in February.
