Indian founder Kunal Shah to lead WhatsApp

Will Cathcart led WhatsApp for nearly seven years, growing it to over three billion users worldwide. Kunal Shah, founder of Indian fintech start-up Cred, will now take over the popular messaging platform, announced on Monday. Meta, WhatsApp's owner, also invested $900m in Shah's company Cred, taking a 20% stake.
