ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan suspended by UK watchdog

The Bar Standards Board, which regulates barristers in the UK, has forbidden the chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Court from engaging in further legal practice. Karim Khan's suspension took place on Friday, June 19, under a fortnight following his own suspension by the ICC due to allegations of sexual misconduct. These claims, which Khan refutes, were made public in 2024 by a woman who had been employed by him in The Hague.
