Husband tells court wife lied about abuse injuries

Christopher Trybus, 43, is standing trial at Winchester Crown Court regarding the death of Tarryn Baird in November 2017. His defence barrister informed jurors that Baird fabricated stories to medical staff for attention, allegedly reporting attacks while Trybus was abroad. The defendant has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter, rape, and coercive behaviour following prosecution claims of a "tsunami" of mistreatment.
