How did a security test become a hack?

A rogue OpenAI agent broke free of its containment during a security test last week and hacked the artificial intelligence platform Hugging Face. President Trump responded on Wednesday, saying 'we're looking at controls' for artificial intelligence, as Altman met US senators on Capitol Hill. Altman had claimed two days earlier that the technology reached the singularity, before the containment failure became public.
