People planning a summer holiday expect to spend £158 on average on hair, beauty and skincare before they travel, including salon visits and products. Clearpay, a buy now pay later provider, found 76% of men and 82% of women planned a pre-holiday makeover in a UK survey of 2,000 people. The average rises to £206 for trips to France or Italy and £237 for holidays in the United States.
