HMS Dragon Heads Towards Strait of Hormuz

Britain’s Ministry of Defence said HMS Dragon is moving from the Eastern Mediterranean towards the Middle East ahead of a possible multinational mission protecting routes through the Strait of Hormuz. Any operation would be defensive only. The Type 45 destroyer had earlier been sent to guard UK bases in Cyprus before docking for repairs weeks later.
