Heating oil firms told to compensate customers over price hikes
Consumers of heating oil whose orders were revoked and prices increased amid the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran are slated to receive restitution, according to the regulatory body for competition. Approximately 1,700 homes experienced these disruptions, incurring costs as high as £350, with certain providers consenting to reimbursement. Legal proceedings are being initiated by the regulatory body for competition and markets against companies that decline to voluntarily reimburse their clients.
