Heathrow cancels 24 of 56 Middle East flights
London Heathrow cancelled almost half its scheduled flights to the Middle East on Sunday. Analytics company Cirium reported that 24 of the 56 departures from the UK's busiest airport to the region were axed, amounting to 43% of flights. This figure included all three flights to Israel and two to Bahrain. Eight of nine flights to Qatar and nine of seventeen to the United Arab Emirates were also cancelled.
