Harry Kane: Broadcasters 'trying to split' England's World Cup squad

England captain Harry Kane rejected suggestions that the reaction to the win over Norway had caused problems between the players and coaching staff. He said ITV and other World Cup broadcasters were trying to create division, adding that the squad understood what manager Thomas Tuchel meant after his criticism of the performance. Kane spoke on 14 July 2026 before England's World Cup campaign continued.
