Half of Gen Z don't expect state pension
Around half of Gen Z, those born from 1997-2012, believe the state pension won't exist by the time they retire. This doubt is growing because of an ageing population and fewer working people paying taxes into the system. The state pension age is already rising, and some experts suggest scrapping the triple lock or replacing the whole system.
