Half a million Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine
Russian forces are now losing ground on the battlefield, marking their first retreat since late 2022. Anne Keast-Butler, head of British spy agency GCHQ, confirmed nearly half a million Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine. This is the first public confirmation by a senior UK official, over four years after the invasion began in 2022.
