Hackers demand $3 million from Revolut or they'll sell customer data
A group called "iamnotavillain" is demanding 6,000 monero, a cryptocurrency, within 24 hours to stop them selling stolen Revolut customer information. Data from a minimum of 680 customer accounts was compromised, encompassing identity documents and transaction histories. The hackers told the Financial Times they targeted accounts with significant crypto holdings after posing as government officials.
