Green tycoon Dale Vince gives Labour £50,000 to defeat Green leader

Dale Vince, a green energy tycoon, donated £50,000 to Labour's campaign to stop Zack Polanski winning the Holborn and St Pancras by-election. Vince, who has previously funded the Greens, described it as "ironic" but considers Labour to be the "better alternative". A new MP will be elected by voters on 8 October in Sir Keir Starmer's former constituency.
