Green councillor Coggins runs for Manchester mayor

The by-election for Greater Manchester mayor is happening because Andy Burnham became an MP, and the Greens see a real chance to win. Geraldine Coggins, a Trafford councillor, was named as their candidate at a launch event in Manchester, with the by-election on 30 July.
