Google raises $25 billion in bonds for AI expansion
Alphabet, Google's parent company, is raising as much as $25 billion by means of a ten-part bond offering with maturities ranging from 2 to 40 years. These funds will help finance the company's huge capital spending projection of $195-$205 billion by 2026, mainly for AI capabilities. The tech giant is also in talks to buy AI coding firm Mechanize for over $1.5 billion.
