Google Maps renames Lake Ontario for US users after Trump order
Google made the change after Donald Trump signed an executive order during a bitter trade dispute with Canada. People outside North America will now see both titles, but Canadians will only see the traditional 400-year-old name. Mark Carney, the Canadian prime minister, rejected the president's decision and pledged to match recent American import taxes "dollar-for-dollar" starting on 8 September.
