Google backs large farming project in Brazil to capture carbon dioxide
It is the biggest carbon-removal agreement the tech giant has ever signed, covering more than 200,000 hectares of land. Randy Spock, Google's head of carbon removal, said the initiative teams up methane reduction with atmospheric capture for the first time. Developer Terradot aims to produce millions of credits by 2040 while lowering costs toward industry targets.
