Gloucester sees big jump in homeless tents

More people are sleeping rough in Gloucester, leading to concerns about drug abuse. The number of rough sleepers in the southwest city rose by 47 per cent in 2024, with tents appearing in parks, car parks, and shopping centres. Norwich also sees rising homeless tents, with a subway described as a "shanty town" by worried shoppers.
