Ghana's EOCO detains opposition spokesperson Dennis Aboagye for alleged fraud
Ghana's economic and organised crime office, EOCO, confirmed the arrest of Dennis 'Miracles' Aboagye, an opposition NPP communication officer, on Saturday night. He is being investigated for alleged financial and procurement irregularities at the Inter-Ministerial coordinating committee on decentralisation. EOCO plans to grant him bail soon as investigations continue into suspected misappropriation of about Ghc 55m.
