Germany Fully Supports Zelensky After Trump Calls for Removal

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said Berlin fully supports Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as he carries out his difficult duties, rejecting Donald Trump's call for new leadership in Kyiv. Speaking at a CDU leadership meeting, Wadephul said Germany needs more pressure on Putin to force negotiations, not less. Germany is Europe's largest donor to Ukraine and said it will keep EU sanctions on Russia despite Trump's diesel deal easing US restrictions.
