George Russell takes Canada sprint pole for Mercedes

Mercedes locked out the front row in Montreal as George Russell beat team-mate Kimi Antonelli in sprint qualifying for Saturday's race. McLaren driver Lando Norris secured third place ahead of Oscar Piastri, while Ferrari pair Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc qualified fifth and sixth. Antonelli finished just 0.068 seconds behind Russell during Formula One's first sprint weekend at the Canadian Grand Prix.
