Gatwick expansion lawful, High Court rules

Good news for Gatwick Airport, as London's High Court has dismissed a legal challenge against its expansion plans. Campaigners had fought the plans, which Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander backed in September 2025. The court ruled on Tuesday that the government's approval for the airport's expansion was lawful.
