Gary Glitter denies eight historical sex offence charges

Paul Gadd, known as Gary Glitter, entered a not guilty plea concerning eight charges of sexual abuse involving a girl who was between the ages of eight and 11. The 82-year-old former pop star appeared via video-link from prison at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday. The entirety of the charges pertain to the same person and are said to have occurred from 1978 to 1981.
