Gallery pulls Churchill famine artwork after row

A video installation by Turner Prize-winner Helen Cammock has been removed from the National Portrait Gallery after a week of criticism. Her 40-minute piece, 'The Persistence', compared Winston Churchill to the 1943 Bengal famine, prompting over 50 peers to object. Cammock stated artists face "incredible pressure" to "bend to external pressure."
