FTSE 100 Rises for Eighth Straight Session

Cheaper oil and stronger company updates lifted investor confidence in Britain’s stock market on Wednesday. London’s FTSE 100 climbed 0.2% to 10,509.08 points, extending gains for an eighth trading session, while the FTSE 250 added 0.8% and moved close to a three-month peak.
