Four Starmer aides resign in single day

Four Starmer aides resign in single day

Four parliamentary private secretaries resigned from the British government on Monday, all calling for Keir Starmer to step down. They were Joe Morris, aide to Health Secretary Wes Streeting; Naushabah Khan in the Cabinet Office; Tom Rutland, aide to Environment Secretary Emma Reynolds; and Melanie Ward, aide to Foreign Secretary David Lammy. A fifth aide, Sally Jameson, who works for Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, joined the calls but did not quit her role.
