Four migrants die trying to cross Channel on Thursday
On Thursday, a boat off the coast of Dunkirk contained the bodies of three individuals, and a fourth person is believed to have died by drowning in an unrelated event. These fatalities occurred following Wednesday, which saw one of the highest numbers of Channel crossings recorded this year. Emergency services provided rescue and medical attention to six individuals, including a one-year-old.
