Former Police Officer and Social Worker Shortlisted to Lead National Grooming Gangs Inquiry

Jim Gamble, a former police officer, and Annie Hudson, a social worker, have been shortlisted to chair the national grooming gangs inquiry. The candidates will meet a survivors' panel on Tuesday, who will recommend the most suitable candidate. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will make the final decision.
