Food supply needs urgent national priority

Britain's food supply faces serious new risks from fuel shortages, cyber attacks, and extreme weather, potentially affecting everyone. The Cold Chain Federation, a trade body, has urged the government to make food supply an "immediate national priority" right now. Its chief executive, Phil Pluck, warns a major food crisis is as likely now as before.
