Five Passengers Leave EasyJet Flight Over Weight Issue

Five Passengers Leave EasyJet Flight Over Weight Issue

A routine holiday departure turned unusual for some EasyJet passengers this month. Five travellers volunteered to leave flight EJU7008 from London Southend to Málaga on 11 April after the aircraft was found to be too heavy to take off safely. Weather and the short runway meant weight had to be reduced. Those who left were rebooked from Gatwick with compensation.
