First UK Evacuation Flight From Middle East Lands Safely At Stansted

The first UK government-chartered evacuation flight carrying British nationals from the Middle East has landed at London Stansted Airport after departing Muscat, Oman. The flight left nearly a day late due to technical and operational issues but safely returned dozens of passengers amid rising regional tensions following Iran-related strikes. Officials say more than 140,000 Britons in the Gulf have registered for assistance. The government plans additional charter flights as airspace disruptions and security concerns continue to complicate evacuation efforts.
