First diagnostic X-rays taken in space for astronaut health

Crew members on a commercial spaceflight successfully obtained the first diagnostic X-rays while in orbit. A small, portable X-ray machine was used after just four hours of crew training. Independent radiologists found the inflight images were of diagnostic quality, even though some positioning scores for central body X-rays were lower.
