Firms hiring young disabled people get 100% wage costs covered

The state's Employment Assurance program is broadening its scope to offer government-funded jobs to thousands of young people with various physical and mental health challenges. For a period of six months, employers who hire 18 to 24-year-olds currently receiving health benefits will have their salary expenses reimbursed for as many as 25 hours each week.
